I have a CD player for the center console that I can sell you for $10. It's name brand and I took it out 14 years ago. I'll get the details if you are interested.

It is a Panasonic DP20 headunit from July 1994. Has CD and AM/FM. 17 Watts X 4
Comes with harness, spade crimp connectors, and might even come with the adapter for the VW/Audi antennas ($8 value) if my Passat wagon does not need it.
