Hi, please forgive if you already covered this question. I am new to Corrados, I have a 1990 the engine cranks over fine and I have fuel but no power to the coil. I have an extra parts car and tried swaping the ecu. What should I try and how to go about it? Any help is appriciated.

No power to the coil? That's weird. Hall effect sensor on the distributor maybe?
There's a PDF of the Workshop Manual floating around out there... time to start tracing wires. There are some very useful diagnostic flowcharts for this kind of thing as well. Most require some weird VAG special tool but in most cases you can do the same with any old digital multimeter.
