1990 VW G60

I had always liked VW's. I owned a 1987 Jetta GL in 1996. The car was in great shape, but was a bit of a lemon. I traded it off for a 96 Cavalier in early of 97 which was totalled two months after purchase by a 16 year old girl who had just got her license the week prior to the accident. So til now that was my only experience in owning a VW. Just this past year in 2009 I purchased a 1990 VW Corrado after looking for quite some time. I live in the middle regin of Indiana and drove all the way to Green Bay to get it. It was one that I found to be reprisented very well and it was in the price range that I had in mind. Love this car, Still a bit of a lemon car, but fun to drive and work on. In the short time that I have had the car i've replaced wheel bearing, heater core "that was fun", repaired guage wireing, speaker wireing, ball joints and a multitude of other parts. Truthfuly though thats why I bought it. I mean its damn near all origanal except for exhaust, wheels and suspension. The engine runs perfect as far as no lifter noise or crank nocks. So definately buildable for more performance. Ok, I think that that's enough jabbering for now. Peace!!
