Mom bought the car almost-new back in 1974, and it was her daily driver for the next twelve years. She then bought a Toyota, and put the MGB in storage. When she moved to California, she took it with her, and I drove out to get it in 1993, dragging it all the way back to Mississippi. I drove it every day for five years, at which point it was simply too worn out to continue. I dismantled her, but divorce, relocation, and remarriage prevented any further progress until August 2008. Finally got the body shell back home, freshly painted, and after a year of reassembly, she's purring on the roads again. Home at last!!
