Good Day,

I have a 1993 Corrado Vr6 and the cooling fan stays on after the car is turned off, usually it should shut off in no more than 10 minutes, but it ran for over hour last night, so I had to disconnect the battery.
I had it into my local shop and after $300 worth of diagnostics they were unable to determine why. I've had the fan modulator replaced and they have tried plugging in another electronic control unit and
that didn't make any difference, nor did the installation of a new sensor. So has anybody had this issue an know what's causing it?

Thanks,

Stephen

Stephen,

I do not recall having exactly that problem but have had many go rounds with the cooling system.

The last two jobs were replacing the fans & then about a week later the temperature switch (for third or forth time).

Good luck,
Dennis
