I had lost track of how long it has been since I really worked on the Corrado. Spent much of last summer helping a friend get his motorcycle running, good times and great guy, so the time wasn't really wasted. I found some decent used tires and had them mounted to a set of 5 star red rims that I picked up as temporary rims until I could get a nice set. After what feels like forever, I finally made it out to the garage and managed to stay there more than 5 minutes without freezing my tail off. Note to self, pick up a radiative heater. I pulled the supercharger out onto a bench and after some examination of the vintage corrosion in place, I began to remove bolts. Well I have been busy. Sadly not in the garage, where I should be, performing wrench therapy, but that four letter word WORK. Although I know that the first thing I should be working on is the supercharger, verifying the vanes are intact, no unusual wear marks, cracks or chunks. Stopped at the local Mall-wart who, by the way, seem to have really reduced the selection of batteries available. When you look up a Volkswagen Corrado, there is no listing against that make and model.
