No Winter Project Progress

OK so its been pretty mild this winter- ideal to work in the garage. I haven't got to the heater valve replacement yet, nor pulled the radiator to fix the pin hole leak. I hope to before the end of February!

I forgot to mention one of our MG Car Club friends had a milestone birthday recently and my wife the artist painted a wonderful little table for them. So as you can see she too is bitten by the MG bug!

Hope Santa was good to you and you all got what you wanted/ needed for your MG projects! Next month starts winter project season. I am planning on pulling the leaky radiator in a couple of weeks and replacing the leaky heater valve.

Salt On The Roads- Nap Time For MG

Well we had a little snow the other day so they salted the roads like there's no tomorrow so its time for the MG to take a little winter nap until April. Meanwhile I am using the trunk to store some Christmas gifts from prying eyes!

Do you put your MG up on jack stands???....IIRC will hell eliminate the flat spot/thumping down the road later......

Used jack stands the first year or so I put her in storage but stopped about 1985
or so and never have since with no flat spotting. That was mostly a problem with
polyester ply tires.

Its a beautiful sunny 50 degree Thanksgiving day today so I washed the MG and took it for a dry off drive! What a difference from the snow a week a week ago.
